2016 IIHF Men's World Championship Schedule Set

USA Opens vs Canada on Friday, May 6

The United States will face defending champion Canada to open the 2016 IIHF Men's World Championship, it was announced today.

Moscow and St. Petersburg will each host 28 preliminary-round and two quarter-final games. The semi-finals on May 21 and the medal games on May 22 will all be played in Moscow.
