USA to Face Russia at O2 Arena on Saturday in Semifinals

OSTRAVA, Czech Republic -- The 2015 U.S. Men's National Team had breakfast at its hotel this morning, a property right next door to CEZ Arena, where the U.S. won seven of the eight games it played, including last night's 3-1 victory over Switzerland in quarterfinal play of the 2015 IIHF Men's World Championship.

At 8:30 a.m., the team hopped on a charter bus for a 30-minute journey to the train station where it boarded a Pendolino train to Prague with members of the Swiss national team and some staff members of the International Ice Hockey Federation (see photo gallery for images).

The train departed at 9:20 a.m. with scheduled arrival time set for around 12:30 p.m. in Prague.

Players and staff are engaging in various activities onboard. The coaching staff is busy watching video and preparing for Team USA's semifinal matchup with Russia on Saturday. Other staff members are tending to administrative duties, while players are reading, playing cards, watching movies, completing school work and just resting.

With three games in four days (yesterday's game, tomorrow's semifinal and Sunday's medal game), the U.S. will not practice today. Team USA will be on the ice Saturday morning prior to its semifinal tilt against Russia that evening at 7:15 p.m. (1:15 p.m. ET).

NOTES: A Czech Pendolino train appeared in the 2006 James Bond film Casino Royale and in Timur Bekmambetov's 2008 film Wanted starring Angelina Jolie.
