NBC Sports Network To Air Men's World Championship Games Live

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - NBC Sports Network will provide live television coverage of all of Team USA's preliminary round games at the 2014 International Ice Hockey Federation Men's World Championship that begins May 9 in Minsk, Belarus. 

Additionally, NBC Sports Live Extra — NBC Sports Group’s live streaming product for desktops, mobile devices, and tablets — will stream coverage of the 2014 IIHF World Championship. Games will be live streamed via “TV Everywhere,” the media industry’s effort to make quality content available to authenticated customers both in and out of the home and on multiple platforms.

The tournament, which runs through May 25, features a collection of the best players in the world from 16 nations. Team USA opens play May 9 against Belarus.

In addition to all Team USA preliminary round games, NBC will present coverage of the entire medal round, including quarterfinals, semifinals and the bronze- and gold-medal games. A detailed schedule is below.

NBC Sports Network will produce pre-game, intermission and post-game coverage from the network’s state-of-the-art International Broadcast Center located in Stamford, Conn.
