Oshie Final Addition To U.S. Roster

Forward T.J. Oshie (Warroad, N.D./St. Louis Blues/University of North Dakota), a member of the National Hockey League’s St. Louis Blues for the past five seasons, has been added to the roster of the 2013 U.S. Men’s National Team it was announced today by USA Hockey.

Oshie, who played collegiately at the University of North Dakota, skated in 30 regular-season games for the Blues in 2012-13 and recorded seven goals and 13 assists. He also competed in six playoff games with two goals.

Oshie has twice previously competed in the IIHF Men’s World Championship, including both in 2009 and 2010. In addition, he played for Team USA in the 2006 IIHF World Junior Championship.

He is expected to arrive in Helsinki on Monday (May 13) and will wear #74.

With Oshie's addition, the U.S. roster is now full with three goaltenders and 22 forwards/defensemen.
