  • Member of the U.S. Men's National Team that competed at the IIHF Men's World Championship in Minsk, Belarus
  • Scored a team-high six goals in eight goals, also adding three assists
  • Named one of Team USA's three best players, as selected by the U.S. staff

2010

  • Had three goals and two assists  in seven outings with the gold medal-winning U.S. National Junior Team at the IIHF World Junior Championship in Saskatoon, Sask.


2009

  • Scored one goal in six games as a member of the U.S. National Junior Team that finished fifth at the 2009 International Ice Hockey Federation World Junior Championship in Ottawa, Ont.

2013-14

  • Named a finalist for the Calder Memorial Trophy as the NHL's rookie of the year; first undrafted finalist since Ed Belfour (1991)
  • Among NHL rookies, his 24 goals tied for first, while his 50 points ranked third
  • Tied for the overall league lead in shorthanded goals (5); second rookie in NHL history to record five shorthanded goals and five power-play goals
  • Tied the Lightning all-time rookie record with 24 goals; listed fifth on the roster with 50 points this season

2012-13

  • Made NHL debut with the Lightning, tallying three goals and three assists in 14 games
  • For the American Hockey League's Syracuse Crunch, notched a league-leading 37 goals and totaled 65 points
  • Received the AHL's Les Cunningham Award as MVP, AHL's Willie Marshall Award for most goals and was named to AHL First All-Star Team
  • Participated in the AHL All-Star Game

2011-12

  • Helped the AHL's Norfolk Admirals win the Calder Cup Playoff championship
  • Posted 31 goals and 68 points in 71 games en route to receiving AHL All-Rookie Team honors

Junior Hockey

2010-11

  • Served as an alternate captain and led the WHL's Spokane Chiefs in goals (53), assists (62) and points (115); his 53 goals topped the WHL
  • Named to the WHL Western Conference's First All-Star Team and received the Brad Hornung Trophy as the WHL's most sportsmanlike player

2009-10

  • Notched 71 points (36-35) in 64 games for Spokane

2008-09

  • Posted 26 goals and 61 points over 62 games for Spokane

2007-08

  • Helped Spokane win the Canadian Hockey League's Memorial Cup championship and WHL Playoff title
  • Named WHL Playoff MVP after scoring three goals, including two game winners, in four games during the championship series  
  • Led Chiefs rookies with 35 points (13-22) in 69 regular-season games
